Last updated: October 9, 2026
Faceoff Ski (we, us, our) operates this website and online store. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, buy from us or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our store is powered by Shopify, which processes some data on our behalf.
By using our website you confirm that you have read this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the site.
Who is responsible for your data
Faceoff Ski is the data controller for the personal information described here. You can reach us at any time through the Contact page on our website.
Information we collect
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address.
- Order and payment details: items you view, add to your cart or buy, order history, payment method and payment confirmation. Card numbers are handled by our payment providers; we do not store full card details.
- Account information, if you create an account: email, password (stored encrypted) and preferences.
- Communications: messages you send us, including support requests and any photos you attach to a claim.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device identifiers, pages viewed, the link you came from (for example from TikTok) and how you use the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Content you share: reviews, photos or videos you send us or post using our hashtags, if you choose to do so.
How we collect it
Directly from you, automatically through cookies and similar technologies, and from service providers such as payment processors, shipping carriers and analytics or advertising platforms.
How we use your information, and our legal bases
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area (EEA), we rely on these legal bases:
- To process and deliver your order, handle returns and refunds, and provide customer support: performance of our contract with you.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure: our legitimate interests and legal obligations.
- To improve the site, understand which products people like and measure our marketing: our legitimate interests, or your consent where the law requires it (for example for non-essential cookies).
- To send you marketing emails or texts: your consent or, for existing customers, our legitimate interests where the law allows. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To meet tax, accounting and other legal requirements: legal obligation.
Marketing and advertising
Where you have agreed, we use tools such as the TikTok Pixel, the Meta Pixel and similar technologies to measure our advertising and show you relevant ads. You can refuse non-essential cookies in our cookie banner, change your choice at any time, or use your browser settings. Where applicable, we honour the Global Privacy Control signal.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only as needed with:
- Shopify and its service providers, which host the store and process orders;
- payment processors and fraud-prevention services;
- shipping carriers, fulfilment partners and suppliers who prepare and deliver your order (they receive your name, address and contact details);
- analytics, email and advertising providers;
- professional advisers, authorities or courts where the law requires, and a buyer if we sell or restructure the business.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
International transfers
We and our service providers work with partners in different countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. When we transfer personal information from the UK or the EEA to a country without an adequacy decision, we use safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above. For example, we keep order and tax records for the period the law requires, and marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information (such as card numbers) in your messages to us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to our processing; withdraw consent at any time; receive a portable copy; and opt out of targeted advertising or of the sale or sharing of personal information. If you are in Brazil, the LGPD gives you similar rights, including confirmation that we process your data and information about who we share it with. California residents also have the rights described in the CCPA/CPRA, and we will not discriminate against you for using them.
To use any of these rights, contact us through the Contact page on our website. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will reply within the time the law requires (generally one month).
Complaints
Please contact us first so we can fix the problem. You can also complain to your data protection authority, for example the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) in the UK, your national authority in the EEA, or the ANPD in Brazil.
Children
Our site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
Our site and social channels link to other services (such as TikTok). We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new Last updated date, and tell you about material changes as the law requires.
Contact
Use the Contact page on our website and we will reply as soon as we can.
